Metallica nos trae su nuevo material llamado, "Death Magnetic", el cual salió a la venta el pasado 12 de Septiembre. El primer single del disco es,  “The Day That Never Comes ” , conjuntamente con la presentación del vídeo del mismo en las televisiones.

Con el cual "Death Magnetic " a tan solo unos días de su lanzamiento ya es número 1 en alrededor de 25 países. De ésta forma el nuevo disco de Metallica lidera los rankings de gran parte de Europa, Estados Unidos, Australia, Canadá y Argentina. A mi parecer es un muy buen disco, con el cual supera todas las expectativas que se habían generado en torno, es mucho mas potente que los anteriores y mucho mas parecido los primeros trabajos de la banda. Ademas están apunto de comenzar una nueva gira para presentar su nuevo álbum,  la cual dara comienzo el próximo el 21 de Octubre en Estados Unidos, donde los teloneros serán DOWN, THE SWORD, LAMB OF GOD y MACHINE HEAD.

"I like it and I’m one of Metallica’s harshest critics. So far it feels pretty good but there’s still plenty of time to fuck it up, so let’s see what happens." Se espera que Metallica regrese a nuestro país con esta gira para el 2009.
